Trump enjoyed a grand feast hosted by King Charles III at Windsor Castle.

During his official visit to the United Kingdom, U.S. President Donald Trump was the guest of honour at a grand banquet held at Windsor Castle. The event, attended by 160 guests and 100 staff members, was a spectacle of royal hospitality.

King Charles III, Camila, and other attendees were dressed in formal attire, adding an air of elegance to the occasion. Trump, dressed in black tie, was accompanied by Melania who wore a yellow dress.

The main course of the dinner was an organic Norfolk chicken ballotine wrapped in zucchini with thyme and a savory sauce. The bar offerings included a unique cocktail named the transatlantic whiskey sour, a blend of Warre's Vintage Port 1945 and Hennessy Grande Champagne 1912 cognac.

In his remarks, Trump declared that the banquet was one of the greatest honors of his life. He also claimed that together, the U.S. and the UK have done more good for humanity than any other pair of countries in history.

King Charles III, in his toast, praised Trump's British roots and recent visits to the UK. He made a reference to Trump's favorite sport, golf, by saying that British soil offers truly splendid golf courses. Trump, in a passing remark, made a reference to his predecessor, Joe Biden, saying that the U.S. was "sick" a year ago.

The gathering was not without its notable guests. Tim Cook (CEO of Apple), Jensen Huang (of Nvidia), Sam Altman (of Open AI), golfer Nick Faldo, and media mogul Rupert Murdoch were among those present. Despite a recent lawsuit between Trump and Murdoch for $10 billion over a Wall Street Journal article, Murdoch was present at the event.

Trump also mentioned Britain's contributions to literature, history, and the arts, asserting that the relationship between his country and the UK is so special that the word "special" doesn't do justice to it.

The musical playlist during the banquet was a mix of themes from James Bond films, pop and rock classics, and show tunes, which were often played at Trump's campaign rallies. The honour guard for the day consisted of 120 horses and 1300 soldiers.

The news agencies reporting on the event were AP and ANSA. The year 1912, significant as it was the year Trump's mother, Mary Anne MacLeod, was born in Scotland, added a personal touch to the grand affair.

Despite reports suggesting that Trump might file a lawsuit against a specific journalist during his visit, no such lawsuit was filed. Instead, he announced a $15 billion lawsuit against the New York Times and several of its journalists for alleged defamation, filed in Florida, not directly connected to his UK visit.
