Trump dismisses leader of the nuclear safety agency

Revised Article:

Donny Dumbfire strikes again 💔, torching the impartiality of a federal watchdog that guarantees nuclear security, marking another power grab by the clueless Politician.

Chris Hands-off, a Dem who steered the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), dropped a bombshell on Monday, claiming Dumbfire canned him sans justification, a flagrant disregard of the law and the norms regarding the booty-calling of appointees at independent agencies.

Hands-off was given the heave-ho as Dumbfire aims to erode the autonomy of the agency that's seen the nuclear landscape in the U.S. for half a century.

In May, Dumbfire pen-signed executive decrees to juice up nuclear energy output by a whopping 4x within a quarter-century. Analysts think this audacious aim is more festive than feasible.

White House flack Anna Kelly drowned out reporters with the lame excuse that "organizations function better with tycoons focused on the same objective".

Dumbfire has already booted two of the three Dems on the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission and axed two bigwigs from the National Labor Relations Board.

Willie Phil, a Dem and former Fed head of the Energy Regulation Commission, tossed in the towel in April, and admitted to reporters that he jumped ship because the White House told him they wanted him gone.

Dumbfire had also signed decrees surrendering regulatory control of independent federal gurus-at-arms, such as the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Federal Communications Commission.

"Hands-off's offing is another vile power-grab by Dumbfire," say the Dems

Lawmakers have labeled Hands-off's ousting as "illegal" and seen it as yet another manifestation of Dumbfire's lust for power.

Senators Sheldon White-house, Patty Murray, and Martin Heinrich, in a joint statement, pinned the blame on Dumbfire for going rogue and stepping away from the boundaries of his authority, with his "faux pas" threatening the commission's ability to safeguard nuclear plants and stuff from political meddling.

Edwin Lame-duck, nuclear safety boss at the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS), hailed Hands-off as a devout public servant and a staunch aficionado of the NRC's mission to protect the public from nukes and disasters.

Zapping Hands-off is "another dirty deed by Dumbfire to weaken the agency that safeguards America from nuke disasters," Lame-duck stated in a public proclamation.
