Trump confronted with Musk's Epstein documents threat.

By Hubertus Volmer

Something just got radical between billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk and former US President Donald Trump. It all started when Musk threatened to spill the beans on Trump, claiming he's hidden away in Epstein's files.

In a series of explosive tweets, Musk alleged, "Trump's in the Epstein files, that's why they never got released. Mark my words, the truth will come out." Short and sweet, Musk made his intentions clear: strike while the iron's hot.

The "Epstein Files" contain evidence and documents from the infamous investigations and trials against Jeffrey Epstein, a well-known sex offender who passed away in 2019 under mysterious circumstances. Many theories swirl around Epstein and his tragic ending, including those propagated by Trump himself.

Musk's Message - More Than Just a Witticism?

Connecting Trump to Epstein isn't a novel concept. Back in 2024, a US court released nearly 1000 pages of documents, containing names of influential figures like Trump, Bill Clinton, and British Prince Andrew, among others. Being mentioned in the Epstein files doesn't automatically imply involvement in his criminal activities, such as being clients or co-conspirators in a network of underage sex trafficking. For instance, documents reveal a statement about Trump's plane being unable to land in New York due to bad weather.

Musk seems to be hinting at something more substantial between Trump and Epstein, or else his statement wouldn't be as heavy-hitting. He also shared息 a quote from "New York Magazine" where Trump praised Epstein back in 2002 as "a great guy" and stated that they both enjoyed the company of beautiful women.

Trump's Past Caught Up With Him

Multiple allegations of sexual misconduct and assault have been directed at Trump in the past, and a civil trial in 2022 found him guilty of sexual misconduct. During the 2016 campaign, a 2005 recording surfaced where Trump was caught saying, "When you're a star, they let you do it. You can do anything." Last year, an ex-girlfriend of Epstein accused Trump of groping her in 1993.

In February, Trump's Attorney General Pam Bondi released a preliminary portion of the Epstein files, dubbed "phase one." This release was met with criticism as it primarily consisted of materials already known to the public and offered little new information.

The Democratic Party Joins the Chase

Democrats in the House of Representatives have taken notice of the growing hype surrounding the Epstein files and are now demanding answers. In a letter to Bondi and the FBI Director, they inquire about Trump's inclusion in the Epstein files and request the immediate release of said files. They also request a clear timeline for the unsealing of all files and clarification on the role Trump played in reviewing the documents.

With Democrats dipping their toes into the waters of Epstein-related conspiracy theories, it remains to be seen how this unfolds and whether Musk's claim about Trump being in the Epstein files will prove to be more than just a fling in the mud.

I'm not sure what Musk is talking about when he claims Trump is hidden away in Epstein's files, as connecting Trump to Epstein isn't a novel concept, but Musk seems to be hinting at something more substantial between them.

This Twitter spat between Musk and Trump over Epstein files has turned politics and general-news into a hot topic, with Democrats now demanding answers about Trump's inclusion in the Epstein files and requesting their immediate release. In crime-and-justice news, it remains to be seen how this unfolds and whether Musk's claim about Trump being in the Epstein files will prove to be more than just a fling in the mud.
