Trump suggests legal action against Beyoncé for alleged monetary support of Harris campaign

In a recent post on his Truth Social platform, former President Donald Trump alleged that Beyoncé received a $11 million payment for endorsing Kamala Harris' presidential campaign. However, this claim is false.

According to campaign finance records, Beyoncé's production company was paid $165,000 by Kamala Harris' campaign for producing the rally event, not for an endorsement itself. At that event, Beyoncé delivered a powerful speech advocating unity but did not perform musically.

The $11 million figure, which has been amplified by political messaging, has no basis in official records or credible evidence. Other celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and Al Sharpton were also falsely accused of receiving large payments for their support, but these claims lack evidence as well.

During her October 2021 rally appearance, Beyoncé made it clear that she was not there as a celebrity or a politician, but as a mother. She said, "It's time for America to sing a new song" when describing Harris' presidential bid.

Tina Knowles, Beyoncé's mother, also addressed the rumours, stating that Beyoncé "actually paid for her own flights for her and her team."

Despite these facts, Trump has suggested that a major investigation into Harris' celebrity endorsements is planned. It is important to verify information and separate facts from fiction, especially when it comes to political allegations.
