Trump and Putin Set to Meet Amidst Ongoing Ukraine Conflict
According to reports from The New York Post and other media outlets, President Donald Trump is scheduled to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on August 15, 2025, in Alaska. This meeting will precede any talks involving Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The announcement of the meeting comes amid ongoing frustration over the prolonged conflict in Ukraine, with Trump’s administration seeking an opening for peace talks.
