Tropical System Brewing in Northern Arabian Sea

A tropical system in the northern Arabian Sea is brewing, potentially intensifying into a depression within the next 24 hours. The UAE, however, is not expected to be significantly impacted.

Over the coming days, local weather will be humid in the mornings, particularly in coastal and inland areas, with occasional fog or light mist. Skies will vary from clear to partly cloudy, and winds will be light to moderate from northwest to northeast, gusting up to 35 km/h at times.

The developing system is anticipated to move west-southwest towards the central Arabian Sea. Seas in the western Arabian Gulf will be light to moderate, occasionally rough, while the Sea of Oman will remain light. By Sunday, waves in the Arabian Gulf are expected to rise to moderate to choppy levels.

While the UAE is not currently expected to face major consequences, residents should stay updated on weather developments. The National Hurricane Center (NHC) oversees tropical storm developments worldwide.
