Palma's Son Sant Joan Airport has faced disruptions due to the impact of heavy storms and a significant number of incidents reported on the island of Mallorca.

Many more delays were reported, causing inconvenience for travellers. Heavy storms, which have been causing flooding across Mallorca, may have contributed to these disruptions. The responsibility for coordinating emergency measures on the island to address the effects of severe storms lies with the "Servicio de Emergencias de Mallorca" (Emergency Service of Mallorca).

Aena, the airport authority, is responsible for Son Sant Joan Airport in Palma. The airport had a total of 906 flights scheduled for Tuesday. By Tuesday afternoon, there had been approximately 80 incidents on Mallorca, as reported by the emergency services of the Balearic Islands.

As the storms continue to cause flooding on Mallorca, travellers are advised to check the status of their flights and plan accordingly. The airport authority and emergency services are working diligently to manage the situation and ensure the safety of all passengers.
