Expect Cyclones, Rain, and Thunderstorms in Kazakhstan From June 14-16, 2025

Gear up for some wild weather in Kazakhstan, folks! In an announcement made by the RSE "Kazhydromet" press service, as reported by Liter.kz, we're in for a stormy ride from the 14th to the 16th of June, 2025.

Meteorologists predict that cyclones will be moving into Kazakhstan's territory, bringing along rain, thunderstorms, and wind. On the 15th and 16th, rainfall may get heavy in certain areas of West Kazakhstan and the Atyrau region, with the potential for hail and a noticeable drop in temperatures.

Now, you might ask, "What about the southerly parts of the country?" Well, it looks like they'll still be basking in warm air masses from Iran, which means those areas will remain quite balmy.

Earlier this week, RSE "Kazhydromet" had already shared the forecast for Astana, Almaty, and Shymkent on June 13th.
