Tropical Storm Barry made landfall near Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico, on June 30, 2025, as a weak and short-lived tropical cyclone but caused significant flooding in the region. The storm developed in the Bay of Campeche and was the second named storm of the 2025 Atlantic hurricane season.
