In a thrilling English week, VfB Stuttgart II continued its impressive form in the 3. Liga, securing two wins out of three games. The team's latest victory came against Viktoria Köln, with a final score of 2:1.

The game against Viktoria Köln was a defensive battle for VfB II in the remaining minutes, including added time. However, the team managed to hold onto its lead and secure the victory.

The first goal of the game was scored by Nicolas Sessa, who proved to be a key player in VfB Stuttgart II's victory. Sessa's penalty kick in the 23rd minute gave the team a crucial early advantage. Jordan Majchrzak added to the scoreline in the 52nd minute, ensuring a comfortable lead for VfB II.

Despite making six changes to the team that won against Mannheim midweek, VfB II put in a mature, largely dominant performance against Cologne. The team's goal difference now stands at 9:9 in the 3. Liga.

The coach of VfB Stuttgart II, Nico Willig, was pleased with the team's performance during the English week. "I am proud of the team's resilience and determination," Willig said after the game. "We have shown that we can adapt to different situations and still come out on top."

VfB Stuttgart II currently sits ninth in the 3. Liga table, with 11 points from seven games. The team's last win against Viktoria Köln, with a score of 2:1 (1:0), was a significant boost for the team's morale and confidence.

In a surprising turn of events, a substitute player from Cologne, David Otto, scored a goal in the 79th minute. However, it was not enough to prevent VfB II from securing another victory.

The team played three games in eight days, showcasing its physical and mental strength. As the season progresses, VfB Stuttgart II looks set to challenge for a place in the top positions of the 3. Liga table.
