The Westefeld Tragedy

On April 6, 2025, a horrific discovery was made in Weitefeld. A 47-year-old man, his 44-year-old wife, and their 16-year-old son lay dead in their home. Initial investigations suggest that firearms and bladed weapons were used in the attack.

The victims' identities are yet to be disclosed out of respect for their family and friends. However, the community of Weitefeld is understandably shaken, as this crime has shattered the peaceful atmosphere of the town.

Hunter for Alexander Meisner

Alexander Meisner, the main suspect in the case, is currently on the run. Police have issued an arrest warrant, and are carrying out extensive searches in the area between Weitefeld and Elkenroth. Despite this, Meisner's whereabouts remain unknown.

Over 200 tips have come in, and the police are diligently following each lead. Special forces have also been called in to aid the search.

Alexander Meisner: A Man with a Violent Past

The name Alexander Meisner is not new to the police. He has a history of violent acts, with a previous conviction for attempted manslaughter. In 2011, he was sentenced for attempting to kill his wife. In 2018, he was also convicted of threats against the same ex-wife, earning him a six-month probation sentence from the Betzdorf Local Court.

Given this history, the police are scrutinizing Meisner's actions closely in relation to the triple murder.

Meisner stands out with a distinctive tattoo of the name "Katja" on his left hand. The police have released photos of him in an effort to help the public identify him.
