Trio Stays with ERC Ingolstadt - Trio Stays with ERC Ingolstadt
ERC Ingolstadt has secured the futures of three key players after extending their contracts. The club announced that goaltender Devin Williams, defenseman Sam Ruopp, and forward Daniel Schmölz will all remain with the team. Sports director Tim Regan confirmed the deals in an official press release.
Devin Williams first joined ERC Ingolstadt in 2023 after leaving the Regensburg Ice Bears. Since then, he has featured in 48 games in the DEL. His new contract will keep him at the club until 2028, though he is currently recovering from an injury.
Daniel Schmölz arrived in 2024 from the Nuremberg Ice Tigers. This season, he has already tallied 25 points in 30 matches. His contract has now been extended by one additional year. Sam Ruopp also signed with ERC Ingolstadt in 2024, moving from the Lausitz Foxes. He has quickly established himself as one of the team’s top defensemen this campaign. All three players will continue to play a central role in the squad’s future plans.
The contract extensions ensure stability in Ingolstadt’s lineup for the coming seasons. Williams, Schmölz, and Ruopp will remain key figures as the team builds for future competitions. Their continued presence strengthens the club’s core ahead of next year’s challenges.
