The trial for 19 defendants accused of involvement in the tragic terror attack on Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, Moscow, began on August 4, 2025. The attack, which took place on March 22, 2024, resulted in the deaths of 149 people and left over 600 injured.

Russia has been shaken by several Islamic terrorist attacks in recent decades, and three ISKP cells are said to have been established in the country. The number of fatalities reported varies, with Tass reporting 149 deaths and one missing person, and Interfax reporting 147 deaths and three missing. Over 330 people were injured.
