The long-running legal battle against Bushido's former manager, Arafat A.-Ch., isn't wrapping up anytime soon, with the legal proceedings scheduled to stretch into 2024. On a recent court date, further trial dates were set for January, pushing the anticipated verdict to January 26, 2024. Before this, Bushido, whose real name is Anis Mohamed Ferchichi, will reappear as a witness on January 12.

As a witness and co-plaintiff, Bushido's statements have played a significant role in the accusations against Arafat A.-Ch. and his brothers. Some of the accusations include deprivation of liberty, attempted aggravated extortion, coercion, grievous bodily harm, insult, and breach of trust. These alleged actions took place after Bushido severed ties with his manager.

The manager was reportedly detained in January 2018 and later subjected to physical abuse, allegedly being thrown a bottle and chair. The trial itself has been a years-long endeavor, commencing on August 17, 2020. Over 60 witnesses, including prominent rappers like Samra, Fler, Ali Bumaye, and Kay One, have testified so far.

Despite numerous witnesses and high-profile participants, the court had originally hoped to conclude the trial by the end of 2021. However, the intricacies of the crime-related proceedings have led to the court proceedings extending into 2024, highlighting the complexity of handling such cases.
