A Shooting Festival at the "Thick Oak" Shooting Club
On both Saturday and Sunday, the "Thick Oak" shooting club played host to a lively shooting festival. The event was graced by the presence of old and new dignitaries, guests, and a multitude of musicians.
The festival was led by Andreas Mester, the 1st chairman, and Klaus Schmettker, the president, of the "Thick Oak" shooting club. The welcome ceremony for the esteemed guests took place in the shade before St. Mary's, setting a serene and welcoming atmosphere for the day's events.
The musical interlude, a highlight of the festival, took place before St. Mary's on Sunday morning. The festival programme was filled with the melodious strains of various instruments, as many musicians performed throughout the two days.
The weather during the festival was favourable, adding to the enjoyment of the attendees. The shooting festival at "Thick Oak" proved to be an exciting and musically enriching event for all who attended.
The shooting club, amid the celebration of the Shooting Festival, also exhibited a keen interest in sports, as various musical instruments filled the air during the two-day event. On Sunday, the musical interlude, a highlight of the festival, took place alongside the shooting competitions, underscoring the harmonious blend of sports and music at the Thick Oak Shooting Club.
