Travis Kelce expresses his thoughts on Taylor Swift achieving a significant accomplishment

Travis Kelce, the strutting tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, couldn't hide his elation as his lady, Taylor Swift, reclaimed her freakin' music rights. On a recent episode of the New Heights podcast, Kelce and co-host Shaquille O'Neal had themselves a dance party when the latter blasted Swift's smash hit, "I Knew You Were Trouble," through his phone's speaker.

In the clip, posted@X on June 3, Shaq holds his phone up to the mic as the 2012 hit fills the room. Travis can be seen bobbing his damn head in response.

"That's my favorite song in the goddamn world, brother," Shaq yelled.

And Travis didn't hold back: "Shout out to Tay Tay. Just got that song back, too. Just bought all her frickin' music back, so it's finally hers, man. I appreciate that, partner. Love you, big dog."

This show of support comes post-Swift's announcement that she'd shelled out her hard-earned cash to regain her master recordings.

On her own website, Swift penned, "I almost stopped hoping it'd ever happen, after 20 years of that damn carrot being dangled and then yanked away. But that's in the past now."

For those not up on Swift-centric music industry drama, the pop sensation had been fighting to reclaim her master recordings. In 2019, Scooter Braun's company snapped them up from Big Machine Label Group, a move that pissed off Swift since it came with no consumer input. Later, Shamrock Capital threw down some serious dough for those rights[1][2].

But Swift ain't giving up that easy. Now, she's the proud owner of those master recordings, which incidentally also includes her music, vids, concert films, album art, and leftover tracks[1][2]. And Kelce is here for it. If the dance on the podcast, and the subsequent Instagram like weren't enough, then the dude has some serious Swift love going on[3]. Swift and Kelce have been an item since 2023, which only adds to the aww factor of their relationship[1][3].

Travis Kelce expressed his admiration for Taylor Swift's reclamation of her music rights, saying he recently purchased all her music, including her songs, music videos, concert films, album art, and leftover tracks. Notably, Swift and Kelce have been together since 2023, and their relationship adds to the adorability of this situation in the entertainment world.

Their show of support for each other was evident when Shaq played Swift's hit song "I Knew You Were Trouble" during a dance party on the New Heights podcast, and Travis couldn't help but bob his head in response, expressing his love for the pop sensation.
