The official tracklist for the album is as follows:

  2. Elizabeth Taylor
  3. Opalite

  5. Eldest Daughter
  6. Ruin the Friendship
  7. Actually Romantic

  9. Wood
  10. Cancelled!
  11. Honey
  12. The Life of a Showgirl (featuring Sabrina Carpenter)

Sabrina Carpenter features on the title track, marking their first collaboration.

Swift's previous album, "The Tortured Poets Department", was released in April 2024. Two songs from the upcoming album, "The Alchemy" and "So High School", are believed to be about her current boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

Kelce, the star tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, has already heard the new album. The Chiefs are set to open the NFL season in Brazil against the Chargers on September 5. It's unclear if Swift will make the trip to Brazil for the season opener.

Swift and Kelce have been dating since 2023 and spent the offseason in Florida, enjoying dinner dates and taking in the Stanley Cup Final. The new album, according to Kelce, is "a lot more upbeat" and "a complete 180" from Swift's previous release, "The Tortured Poets Department." Swift herself likened her new album to "lightning in a bottle."

In a cheeky nod to her new relationship, Swift thanked the program that brought them together, stating, "It got me a boyfriend."

Swift made her first appearance at a Chiefs game in September 2023. The album announcement comes amidst recent coverage of their romantic relationship, but it is important to note that the album itself is a separate artistic project slated for fall 2025.

Fans of Swift are eagerly awaiting the release of "The Life of a Showgirl". With its upbeat vibe and potential nods to her personal life, it promises to be an exciting addition to her discography.
