Goalkeeping duties for Eintracht's Cup match are assigned to Trapp - Trapp will serve as the goalkeeper in the upcoming Cup, disregarding any rumors to the contrary.

In a shocking turn of events, goalkeeper Kevin Trapp has officially said goodbye to Eintracht Frankfurt after a decade with the club. The German shot-stopper has signed a contract with Paris FC, a newly promoted Ligue 1 club, marking the end of his tenure with the Eagles.

Trapp's departure comes after media reports suggesting his move to Paris FC, which was confirmed recently. Despite any transfer speculations leading up to his departure, Trapp had been an integral part of Eintracht Frankfurt's success, contributing significantly to their UEFA Europa League title in 2022.

However, it seems unlikely that Trapp will play for Eintracht Frankfurt again, as his legacy at the club continues to grow. The club has already welcomed new goalkeeping talent, such as Kaua Santos, to take over.

Despite Trapp's impending departure, Eintracht Frankfurt will be in action this Sunday in the DFB-Pokal. The match, which will be broadcast on Sky, will be the club's first competitive match of the season. The fifth-tier side FV Engers will be the opponents in Koblenz.

Dino Toppmoeller, the coach of Eintracht Frankfurt, has stated that Trapp will play in the DFB-Pokal match. The goalkeeper has been training well in recent days, according to Toppmoeller.

Meanwhile, there are talks of Werder Bremen's starting goalkeeper, Michael Zetterer, as a potential replacement for Trapp at Eintracht Frankfurt. Zetterer has been confirmed as the number one goalkeeper at Werder Bremen.

The match between Eintracht Frankfurt and FV Engers will take place on Sunday at 13:00 CET, with Trapp set to play his final match for Eintracht Frankfurt. Fans will undoubtedly be eager to see how the team performs without their long-time goalkeeper.
