Trainer Denis Hogan and Jockey Mick Mulvany Secure Doubles at Bellewstown

Trainer Denis Hogan and Jockey Mick Mulvany Secure Doubles at Bellewstown

Today's racing at Bellewstown saw a successful day for trainer Denis Hogan and jockey Mick Mulvany, each securing a double. Hogan's victories came with Nezeeh and Just Jump, while Mulvany's wins were achieved with Ribee and Duke Of Leggagh in the Barney Curley Apprentice Series Final.

The day started with Nezeeh, a 5-year-old bay gelding, winning a 5f handicap at odds of 6-1. Ridden by Megan Telford-Kelly, who reduced her claim to 7lb, Nezeeh held off the challenge of 5-2 favorite Escaping Thejungle. Later, Just Jump, a 4-year-old bay gelding, won a mile claiming maiden at 3-1, beating Late Night Talking by a length and a half.

In the mile handicap, Ribee, a 4-year-old bay filly, won by six lengths, securing Mick Mulvany's first victory of the day. Mulvany then went on to win the Barney Curley Apprentice Series Final with Duke Of Leggagh, a 3-year-old bay colt. Trained by Michael Mulvany, Duke Of Leggagh won the final part of a double at Bellewstown's 1m4½f, beating the rest of the field by five lengths.

James McAuley, the owner of both Nezeeh and Just Jump, has had an impressive year with six wins from 16 runners.

Today's racing at Bellewstown was marked by successful trainers and owners. Denis Hogan and Mick Mulvany each trained a double, while James McAuley, the owner of two winners, has had a productive year. The day's highlights included Nezeeh's upset victory and Duke Of Leggagh's dominant win in the apprentice series final.
