In this latest trailer, we catch a tantalizing glimpse of the sequel's tension-filled narrative.

The thrilling trailer opens with Ariana Grande speaking as Glinda, "Elphaba Thropp, I know you're out there." The camera pans to reveal Glinda's back, before turning to reveal Elphaba, now cloaked in her signature wicked witch outfit. Elphaba declares defiantly, "There's no going back. This is between the Wizard and me."

Familiar faces from the first film return for the sequel, including Jonathan Bailey (37) as Fiyero, Jeff Goldblum (72) reprising his role as the Wizard of Oz, and Michelle Yeoh (62) playing Madame Morrible once more.

"Wicked: For Good" Hits Theaters in November

Adapted from Gregory Maguire's novel "Wicked - The Witches of Oz," the Broadway smash hit has been enthralling audiences since 2003. Winnie Holzman (70) penned the book, while Stephen Schwartz (77) composed the music. Director Jon M. Chu (45), along with the duo, orchestrated the film adaptation of this classic prequel to the beloved fantasy tale, "The Wizard of Oz." Due to the wealth of source material, the story was divided into two movies.

The first film received critical acclaim and commercial success. According to Variety, "Wicked" set the Broadway adaptation record, surpassing "Mamma Mia" from 2008 [1]. During the awards season, the film garnered two Oscars for costume and production design. The second chapter of this magical journey is set to cast its spell on German theaters on November 20, 2025 [2][3].
