The much-anticipated Train No. 183 Murmansk - Sevastopol is currently experiencing a delay of 6.5 hours, according to reports from the railway carrier "Grand Service Express". This delay, along with others for the "Tavria" trains to and from Crimea, is due to technical issues affecting the trains.

These delays have been affecting departures from initial stations such as Moscow, Smolensk, and St. Petersburg, as well as en route trains from and to various Crimean cities. The delays vary, with some trains reportedly delayed between 33 minutes to as much as 15 hours on certain sections of the route.

Despite the ongoing delays, there is some good news. As of July 22, 2025, the previously delayed "Tavria" and "Tavria Express" trains have been successfully put back on schedule and are currently running on time.

In addition to the train delays, traffic on the Crimean Bridge has been affected. Overnight, no trains were able to pass through the bridge, but traffic was reopened after more than five hours. The waiting times for vehicles have been reduced to four hours on the Taman side and two hours on the Kerch side. However, the number of vehicles in the traffic jam has slightly increased, with approximately 2,300 vehicles on both sides.

The press service of "Grand Service Express" continues to report delays for nine "Tavria" trains to Crimea and five from it. The railway carrier emphasizes that passengers are still being provided with food whenever possible.

While the current delays are inconvenient, it's reassuring to know that the situation is improving. Passengers are advised to check the status of their trains before departing and to plan accordingly. Here's to hoping for a smooth journey ahead!
