In Munich, from June 2 to 5, 2025, the Transport Logistic trade fair took centre stage, showcasing the latest advancements and strategies in logistics, mobility, IT, and supply chain management. With a focus on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), digitalization, and sustainable logistics innovation, the event attracted over 77,000 trade visitors from 130+ countries and 2,722 exhibitors representing 73 nations[1][2].

The fair was not just an exhibition; it was a platform for knowledge exchange, expert panels, and workshops, providing a comprehensive picture of how digital innovation, AI, cybersecurity, and sustainability are shaping the future of global logistics in a volatile and complex economic landscape[1][2][4].

Artificial Intelligence and Automation were major focal points, with AI-supported control systems, intelligent digital solutions, and AI-driven business intelligence showcased to demonstrate how AI enriches logistics operations and decision-making[1][4]. Cybersecurity solutions, including consulting and end-to-end services, were also a priority, reflecting the importance of protecting logistics networks and data in a digitalized environment[4].

Digitalization and Smart Technologies were prominently displayed, with exhibits featuring smart platform solutions, digital twins, IoT applications for smart buildings, and blockchain for track & trace services, emphasizing the importance of real-time data and automation[1][4]. Sustainability and Environmental Responsibility were also highlighted, reflecting the industry's commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and promoting greener logistics operations[3].

Adaptation to Market Disruptions was a significant theme, with discussions focusing on logistics resilience amid geopolitical instability, rising costs, fragmented digital systems, and supply chain complexity, particularly in the automotive sector with electrification and tariffs affecting supply chains[2].

Integrated into the Transport Logistic was air cargo Europe, an exhibition of the global air freight industry. The exhibition area was expanded to 150,000 square meters, with two new halls added, to accommodate the growing number of exhibitors and visitors[5]. The trade fair covered a wide range of topics, including heavy and special transports, last mile solutions, assistance systems, temperature-controlled transports, combined transport, road safety, apps and software, smart city, and more[6].

Notable exhibits included integrated digital solutions from companies like Ziegler, showcasing warehouse management and smarter inventory control systems that leverage automation and digital tools to future-proof logistics[3]. Atos demonstrated AI applications in secure, data-driven logistics processes, including video analytics for warehouse and yard management and optimized SAP-based supply chain management[4].

The Transport Logistic 2025 thus provided a valuable opportunity for companies, organizations, and decision-makers from all areas of the supply chain to come together, learn, and collaborate, setting the stage for a more innovative, sustainable, and resilient logistics industry in the years to come.
