'Toy Story 5' teaser reveals Woody’s futuristic new foe in 2026 return
Pixar has released the first teaser for 'Toy Story 5', set to hit theaters on June 19, 2026. The beloved Toy Story gang, including Woody, Buzz, and Jessie, will face a new challenge in the form of Lilypad, a futuristic smart tablet voiced by Greta Lee. 'Toy Story 5' promises to bring back the classic characters, with Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Joan Cusack reprising their roles. New additions to the cast include Conan O'Brien as 'Smarty Pants', a toilet-training tech toy. The film introduces Lilypad, a frog-shaped smart tablet that poses a fresh challenge for the toy gang.
'Toy Story 5' marks a significant milestone for Pixar, which has been entertaining audiences with its animated features for decades. With a talented cast and crew, including directors Andrew Stanton and Kenna Harris, the film is set to continue the beloved franchise's legacy of storytelling and innovation.
