In a thrilling conclusion to the EuroBasket 2025 tournament, Tuřkie's national basketball team secured the silver medal, falling to Germany in a closely contested final that ended 88-83.
The tournament saw a series of standout performances, with Luka Doncic leading the way as the competition's top scorer. Doncic, who plays for the Slovenian national team, averaged an impressive 34.7 points per game, making him the fourth player in EuroBasket history to record a triple-double against Belgium.
Joining Doncic in the list of top performers was Franz Wagner, who averaged 20.8 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 3.4 assists throughout the tournament. Wagner delivered key performances in the quarter-final and the Final, helping to propel Tuřkie to the brink of victory.
