In a significant move for the world of professional cycling, TotalEnergies has become a secondary sponsor of the Ineos Grenadiers team for the 2025 season and beyond. The partnership, officially announced on June 26, 2025, marks a notable financial backing for Ineos Grenadiers, aiming to strengthen their position in the competitive cycling landscape.

Under the terms of the agreement, TotalEnergies' logo will be prominently displayed on the Ineos Grenadiers jersey for the 2025 Tour de France and the remainder of the season. The logo, large and centrally placed, is a testament to the significance of the partnership. However, due to UCI rules, TotalEnergies cannot be the naming sponsor of Ineos Grenadiers, as they are already the title sponsor of TotalEnergies ProTeam through 2026.

John Allert, CEO of Ineos Grenadiers, emphasised the importance of the partnership, stating, "TotalEnergies is a significant partner for the team, both industrially and in a sporting sense." He also clarified that the journey for Ineos Grenadiers in terms of partnerships and recruitment of riders is ongoing, with discussions still underway with other potential partners.

Ineos Grenadiers, under the leadership of Sir Jim Ratcliffe, have been actively seeking fresh investment, and the partnership with TotalEnergies is a step towards achieving this goal. The team is also in discussions with "literally hundreds of brands" for potential partnerships, aiming to attract investment, interest, and talented riders for the future.

It is worth noting that ProTeam TotalEnergies will also be racing at the Tour de France, but they will be wearing a largely white kit, unlike the orange base of the Ineos WorldTour team's kit. TotalEnergies has stressed that there will be no connection between the two Ineos and TotalEnergies teams.

This strategic partnership between Ineos Grenadiers and TotalEnergies signifies a new chapter for both parties, bringing together the power of energy and the passion for cycling. As the Tour de France approaches, spectators and cycling enthusiasts alike are eager to see the new-look Ineos Grenadiers team in action, powered by TotalEnergies.

Sports enthusiasts will note the prominent presence of TotalEnergies on the Ineos Grenadiers jersey during the 2025 Tour de France, as the company has partnered with the team as a secondary sponsor. This sports alliance aims to strengthen Ineos Grenadiers' position in the competitive cycling landscape.
