The weather forecast for the next two days in Thailand is predicting widespread heavy rain and thunderstorms, due to the strengthening southwest monsoon. The Thai Meteorological Department has issued a warning for intense rainfall in numerous regions, including Bangkok and its surrounding provinces.

Residents in northern, northeastern, eastern, and southern provinces are advised to be cautious of potential flash floods and runoff, particularly in foothills, near waterways, and low-lying areas. In Bangkok and its surrounding provinces, there is a 70% chance of thunderstorms.

Marine conditions during this period are expected to be rough, with waves in the upper Andaman Sea reaching about 2 meters, and waves between 1-2 meters in the lower Andaman Sea and upper Gulf of Thailand. In thunderstorm zones, waves could exceed 2 meters, leading to warnings for mariners to avoid sailing in affected areas.

The unsettled weather is being driven by a low-pressure system over upper Myanmar and northern Laos, combined with a moderate southwest monsoon. Meanwhile, Tropical Storm "Danas" is approaching Taiwan, but it is not expected to impact Thailand directly.

In the Southern Region (east coast), scattered thunderstorms are expected in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, and Surat Thani, affecting these provinces. In contrast, in the Southern Region (west coast), Ranong and Phang Nga are forecast to experience over 60% thunderstorm coverage with heavy rain likely.

In the Eastern Region (Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Chanthaburi, and Trat), thunderstorms are expected across 70% of the region, with heavy rain in some areas. In the Central Region (Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Ratchaburi, Samut Songkhram, and Samut Sakhon), thunderstorms are forecast over 70% of the area.

In addition, in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Tak, Phitsanulok, and Phetchabun, thunderstorms cover 80% of the area with heavy rain.

On a positive note, the government has announced plans to withdraw the Entertainment Complex Bill on July 9. However, for the next few days, it is essential to stay informed and exercise caution with the incoming weather conditions.

While the Entertainment Complex Bill might be withdrawn on July 9, it's crucial for residents to stay informed about the ongoing weather situation, especially with the predicted widespread heavy rain and thunderstorms across Thailand. The unsettled weather, driven by a low-pressure system and the southwest monsoon, is expected to impact various regions, including traveling and marine conditions. For instance, in the Southern Region, both east and west coasts are forecast to experience significant thunderstorm coverage, potentially disrupting travel plans.
