Dalila will generate sustained winds of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour (km/h) with gusts of 80 to 100 km/h, waves of 4.5 to 5.5 meters, and conditions for the formation of waterspouts along the coasts of Jalisco, Colima, Michoacán, and Guerrero.

As of June 15, 2025, Tropical Storm Dalila was about 285 kilometers south of Manzanillo, Colima, and 345 km south of Playa Pérula, Jalisco. Its maximum sustained winds were 95 km/h, with gusts up to 110 km/h, moving northwest at 19 km/h, parallel to the Mexican Pacific coast.

The National Meteorological Service (SMN), in coordination with the National Hurricane Center of the United States, maintains a warning area for the effects of tropical storm winds from Tecpan de Galeana, Guerrero, to Cabo Corrientes, Jalisco.

Due to the heavy rainfall, residents may face landslides, increased river and stream levels, as well as flooding and inundation in low-lying areas. Consequently, the population is urged to heed the SMN's warnings and adhere to Civil Protection recommendations.

Related weather conditions:- Strong wind gusts in the Northern Mesa, with possible whirlwind formation in areas of Chihuahua and Coahuila.- Hot to very hot weather in much of Mexico, with extremely hot conditions predicted in the afternoon.

For the next few days, Dalila will move along the coasts of Michoacán and Colima, which in combination with a low-pressure channel over western and central Mexico, will generate heavy rainfall in Oaxaca, Guerrero, Michoacán, Colima, and Jalisco; very heavy in Nayarit, and showers in Sinaloa.

Lastly, the hot to very hot weather will continue over much of Mexico, with temperatures reaching above 45°C in certain regions, such as Baja California, Sonora, Chihuahua, and Sinaloa.

The government has issued warnings for the states of Jalisco, Colima, Michoacán, Guerrero, Nayarit, and Oaxaca, as Tropical Storm Dalila is expected to bring heavy to very heavy rainfall, potentially causing environmental-science issues like landslides and flooding. The National Meteorological Service (SMN) urges citizens to follow Civil Protection recommendations, as the storm's science-related impacts may be severe. Additionally, unrelated to Dalila, hot to very hot weather is predicted to continue across Mexico, particularly in regions like Baja California, Sonora, Chihuahua, and Sinaloa.
