On a chilly November evening, renowned composer Howard Goodall will be trading the silver screen for the small one, as he focuses on the best television shows of 2014. The event, titled "Saturday Night of the Movies," will take place on the 29th of November, at 5pm.

Goodall, known for his work in film and television, will be highlighting the superb scores of these shows, which will be aired for one week only. Among the shows to be celebrated are the critically acclaimed Doctor Who, with Murray Gold as the composer for the 2014 version.

Doctor Who, a TV drama that has captivated audiences for years, will join other top-rated shows of 2014, such as the noir crime drama Hinterland, set in Aberystwyth and composed by John E.R. Hardy. Another notable show is Fargo, a gripping drama with a star-studded cast that includes Martin Freeman, also known for his roles as Dr. Watson and Bilbo Baggins. Jeff Russo composed the music for this series.

Ramin Djawadi, known for his work on Game of Thrones, will also have his score featured. Brian Reitzell, who composed the score for the psychological horror series Hannibal, rounds off the impressive line-up.

As the clock strikes 5pm on the 29th of November, Goodall will be settling in to watch these shows, appreciating the dedication and talent that has gone into their scores. This special event promises to be a celebration of the best television has to offer.
