Top-Notch Acts Gracing London's All Points East Festival This Month: Doechii, Confidence Man, Warmduscher, and Chloe Qisha Amongthem
In August 2023, Victoria Park in east London will once again play host to the All Points East festival, a five-day extravaganza of music that promises to be one of London's major summer events.
The festival kicks off on August 15 with headliners Cleo Sol, Chronixx, and Sault, joined by a host of supporting acts including 00ab, CARI, Demae, fliss, Nia Wyn, Sabyna, Safii Koii, and Yves Jarvis.
On August 15, Sault, the mysterious and enigmatic musical collective, will take to the stage, adding an air of intrigue to the proceedings. The following day, Barry Cant Swim, known for his unique blend of claustrophobic techno and surprising bursts of darkness, will headline his first major outdoor festival, with Orbital and Avalon Emerson providing support.
The Murder Capital, an electrifying live band from Ireland, and Warmduscher, a London post-punk band with a chaotic, maverick energy, are also set to perform at All Points East.
Chloe Qisha, a Malaysian-born, London-based alt. pop star, will perform on August 23, having graced the cover of Rolling Stone UK's Future Of Music issue in March with just one EP to her name. She will be supported by Doechii, a Tampa rapper who won a Best Rap Album Grammy for her mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal. Pop star RAYE will headline the day, with Chloe Qisha and Doechii providing support.
The festival will conclude on August 24 with The Maccabees, CMAT, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Cribs, and Nilüfer Yanya. CMAT's third album Euro-Country is set for release on August 29, making the All Points East performance a highly anticipated event for fans of the Dubliner.
Confidence Man, known for their adorably awkward choreography and relentless energy, will also perform at All Points East, having confirmed their ability to back up their live act with great music following the release of their third album 3am (La La La). Their set at Glastonbury Festival last year significantly increased their popularity.
Dry Cleaning, a south London quartet, have been recording the follow-up to their 2022 album Stumpwork in France this summer. Their unique blend of post-punk and art rock is sure to be a highlight of the festival.
Tickets for the remaining shows at All Points East are available on the festival's website. With a mix of indie, soul, reggae, electronic, and pop artists, All Points East is not to be missed for any music lover.
