=========================================

Battle Beast's new single, Here We Are, is the first taste of their upcoming album Steelbound, due for release on October 17. The old school melodic metal album is sure to please fans of the genre. Noora Louhimo, Battle Beast's vocalist, evokes the power of Lita Ford or Doro Pesch with her captivating voice.

Creeper's new single, Blood Magick (It's A Ritual), is a throwback to the 80s rock era, with a cheesy yet enjoyable sound. Fans can look forward to Creeper's new album, Sanguivore II: Mistress Of Death, which is set to be released on Halloween.

Frayle's cover of Lana Del Rey's Summertime Sadness adds a heftier low-end that is oh-so-satisfying. Frayle's new album, Heretics & Lullabies, is set to be released on October 10.

Pinkshift's latest single, Don't Fight, combines Deftonescore with thumping, pounding alt. metal. Trivium's new EP, Struck Dead, will also be released on October 31, featuring a similar sound.

Orbit Culture were the overall winners of last week's vote with their album Hydra. Other notable mentions include German power metallers Primal Fear, who took third place, and heavy metal legends Spinal Tap, who won with their all-new rendition of Stonehenge, featuring Elton John.

Agenbite Misery's new song, Bellwether And Swine, is an adaptation of James Joyce's Ulysses. The song is a gorgeously bleak and powerful opening statement.

Despised Icon's latest single, Over My Dead Body, takes the base elements of hardcore and death metal and mashes them together.

AFI's new single, Behind The Clock, feels much more at home with 80s goth originators and modern post-punk revivalists.

Belphegor's new song, Sanctus Diaboli Confidimus, is the first taste of new material since 2022's The Devils.

Upcoming festivals include Bloodstock, ArcTanGent, and Reading/Leeds. Trivium are returning to headline Bloodstock Festival for the second time.
