Toni Kroos' Table Football Finds a Permanent Home in Lubmin

In a unique event that brought together sports, politics, and family, the table football used during Toni Kroos' visit to Greifswald on July 18 was auctioned off, with the proceeds going towards college football in Greifswald.

The event, which marked the first use of the table football in Lubmin, saw Toni Kroos play a game against Minister President Manuela Schwesig and Greifswald's Mayor Dr. Stefan Fassbinder. After the game, the football star signed the table, making it a unique piece.

The table football, specifically made for Toni Kroos' visit, was presented to Rita Kremer, the business manager of the Greifswald Sports Association, by Mayor Dr. Stefan Fassbinder. The check for 5,149 euros, the proceeds from the online auction excluding expenses and fees, was also handed over to Ms. Kremer. The funds will directly go into projects for college football in Greifswald.

The table football was not handed over to Heidrun Moritz, Lubmin's hotel director, but was auctioned off. However, on September 15, 2025, the signed table football was handed over to Heidrun Moritz, who has a long-standing relationship with the Kroos family, knowing Toni and Felix since their childhood.

Heidrun Moritz, along with the two mayors, played the first match on the new table football at the event. The table football, designed in a special way, will now be placed in Hotel Seebruecke, a heart's desire for Heidrun Moritz.

Toni Kroos, born in 1990 in Greifswald, Germany, visited his hometown on July 18, 2025, and the table football event was a highlight of his football games today. Lubmin's Mayor Axel Vogt also attended the event, joining Dr. Stefan Fassbinder in welcoming Toni Kroos back to his hometown.

The table football auctioned off was the one used during Toni Kroos' visit to Greifswald on July 18, making it a special memento for the lucky bidder. The event was a memorable one, bringing together sports, politics, and family in a unique way, all while supporting the future of football games today in Greifswald.
