Tomsk is geared up for the approaching heating season, according to Dmitry Mahin's declaration.
In the city of Tomsk, the authorities are set to discuss the commencement of the heating season at a meeting scheduled for today. The current forecast predicts warm weather, but according to Rospotrebnadzor's norms, heating is typically turned on when there is a sustained decrease in the average daily air temperature below eight degrees Celsius.
Despite the current weather, Mayor Dmitry Makhina has stated that social facilities can request early heating if necessary. This comes after the city of Novosibirsk has already started its heating season on the 17th, and Seversk has connected to their heating system.
The decision on the start of the heating season in Tomsk will be made collegially, after analyzing all relevant factors. Mayor Makhina, during a field meeting with journalists, informed that the city is prepared for the heating season.
However, it is worth noting that the mayor has personally observed good weather in the city. This may lead to complaints about apartments being too hot during the day, as some residents might find the current warmth uncomfortable.
Regardless, the authorities remain vigilant and are committed to ensuring the comfort and safety of Tomsk's residents as the weather transitions into the colder months. The final date for the start of the heating season will be announced following the meeting today.
