Tomorrow marks the commencement of the Dhaka Auto and Agricultural Machinery Exhibition.
The AutoDhaka Automobile and Agricultural Machinery Exhibition 2025, a two-day event scheduled for 20-21 September, is set to conclude on Sunday. Organised by the Bangladesh Chamber of Industries (BCI) in collaboration with the Bangladesh Automobiles Assemblers and Manufacturers Association and the Agriculture Machinery Manufacturers Association-Bangladesh, this year's expo will take place at the BCI office building in Dhaka.
The inauguration ceremony is set for 11am tomorrow, with Adilur Rahman Khan, adviser to the Ministry of Industries, serving as the chief guest. Md Obaidur Rahman, another special guest from the Ministry of Industries, will also be present.
Mir Nasir Hossain, former FBCCI president and managing director of Mir Group, and Sheikh Bashir Uddin, adviser to the Ministry of Commerce, are also slated to attend the inauguration. Dr Hossain Zillur Rahman, Dr Mohammad Emdad Ullah Mian, AK Azad, Taskin Ahmed, and other distinguished guests will be present at the closing ceremony.
Throughout the two days, two seminars will be held, and 38 stalls will feature a variety of products from the automobile, agricultural machinery, and light engineering sectors. In addition to these stalls, booths will be hosted by the Bangladesh Industrial Technical Assistance Center (Bitac), Buet, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, and SME-focused banks.
This expo aims to generate new employment opportunities for Bangladesh's workforce, promote domestic manufacturing, and encourage the use of locally produced goods. It serves as a platform for showcasing the latest advancements in the automobile and agricultural machinery industries, fostering collaboration, and strengthening the economy.
