Tommy Robinson Has Been Arrested for Involvement in Altercation Incident
In a shocking turn of events, far-right activist Tommy Robinson (Stephen Yaxley-Lennon) was arrested on August 4, 2025, at Luton Airport on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) related to an alleged assault at St Pancras railway station on July 28, 2025.
The British Transport Police made the arrest shortly after 18:30 BST, following Robinson's return from a flight from Faro, Portugal. The arrest was linked to an incident at St Pancras station, where CCTV footage and witness reports show Robinson near a 64-year-old man lying on the ground.
According to the reports, Robinson claimed self-defence, saying, "He's come at me bruv." Witnesses described seeing Robinson engage in a heated argument with the older man before allegedly punching him, knocking him unconscious. The injured man suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was discharged from hospital.
Robinson, a 42-year-old man from Bedfordshire, has a long history of legal troubles, including previous convictions for assault among other offenses. He was wanted for questioning after leaving the country post-incident but was apprehended upon his return and taken into custody for questioning.
Following the arrest, Robinson was released on bail until September 2, 2025, pending further investigation. In a brief encounter with a female reporter from the BBC, Robinson reportedly replied with a derogatory term when approached for comments on the situation.
The incident at St Pancras station remains under investigation, with the current focus on determining the circumstances leading to the altercation and the extent of Robinson's involvement. It is important to note that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
