Tokayev, Kazakhstan's president, plans a trip to Turkey
Kasym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of Kazakhstan, is set to pay an official visit to Turkey on July 29, 2025. The visit, which comes at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, is aimed at further strengthening the strategic partnership between the two nations.

The fifth meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council between Kazakhstan and Turkey will be chaired by the presidents during the visit. Turkey's historical role as the first country to recognise Kazakhstan’s independence in 1991 will also be acknowledged during the visit, with ongoing high-level bilateral engagement demonstrated by frequent meetings between Presidents Tokayev and Erdoğan.
