A primer on Wordle basics

The objective of Wordle is to guess the five-letter word that the game selects daily. When you open the game, you'll see an empty grid of letters. Your goal is to make the first move and guess any five-letter word.

Now, pay attention to the colors that appear to gather clues about the word. Green means you guessed a letter correctly and in the correct position. If you guessed PARTY, and the word was actually PURSE, the P and R would be green. Yellow means the letter is somewhere in the word but not in the position you guessed it. If you guessed PARTY, but the word was actually ROAST, the R, A, and T would all be yellow. Gray means the letter is not in the solution word at all. If you guessed PARTY, and everything is gray, then the solution cannot be PURSE or ROAST.

Use this information to make the next guess, then the one after that, aiming to reach the correct word before you run out of chances. You have six guesses, and then it's game over.
