How I solved today's Wordle
RAISE gave me a yellow A and TOUCH gave me a yellow O and a C. I always think of "coach" and how it rhymes, even if O tells me it's not possible. Eventually, I separated the vowels and thought about -A-O- and -O-A-.
BACON surfaced as a possible answer for me, and when I played it, it showed me the positions of all three yellow letters and gave me a hint as to whether B and N (both quite common letters) could be at the beginning. It's quite popular.

Best starter words for Wordle
What should you begin with? The best starters usually contain common letters, which will give you a chance to see green and yellow tiles as guides. (If you guess common letters and get gray tiles, that's still great information as it allows you to narrow down possibilities.) There's no "best" start word, but the New York Times Wordle advice robot is a good starting point.
While MIT analysis suggests starting with one of the following options:
- Crane
- Leaning
- Crate
- Menu
Other good options could be ARISE or ROUND. Words like ADIEU and AUDIO have more vowels, but one could argue it's better to begin with focusing on consonants and using common consonant-heavy words like RENTS or CLAMP. Choose your strategy and see how it works for you.
