Peeps, get ready for some juicy gossip! The U.S. President, Donald Trump (78), and his First Lady, Melania Trump (55), experienced a mix of cheers and boos at the opening night of the musical "Les Misérables" at the Kennedy Center. According to "People" magazine.

Dapper Couple on the Red Carpet

The President donned a sharp black suit, white shirt, and bow tie, accompanied by his lovely wife on the Kennedy Center's red carpet in Washington, D.C. Melania Trump looked stunning in a sleeveless, floor-length evening gown, accessorized with silver glittering pumps and a chic updo.

Despite the boos, Donald Trump seemed unbothered. He even demonstrated his indifference towards reports of a few cast members planning to boycott the premiere due to his presence: "I don't give a hoot, it's all about running this country right," he said, as reported by "The New York Post".

Trump's Personal Touch

The 78-year-old took the reins of the Kennedy Center's board of trustees in February 2025 post his second inauguration as U.S. President. Trump spoke about restoring the institution, which he deemed as in "dire straits". This marked his first personal visit to the Kennedy Center.

Trump's Vice President, J.D. Vance (40), and his wife Usha Vance (39) also attended the performance. The couple braved through a boo-filled incident during their previous visit in March at another Kennedy Center performance.
