Tkachov's representative voices disapproval towards Omsk team.

In a candid interview with Match TV, hockey agent Shumi Babaev shared his views on the current state of affairs at the Omsk club "Avangard." Babaev, who represents the interests of former "Avangard" forward Vladimir Tkachev, expressed concerns about the management's approach and the future of Russian hockey.

Babaev believes that the management of "Avangard" is accommodating the main coach, Guy Boucher, who has been radically restructuring the team since his arrival. However, he suggests that some leaders within the management may not reach the level of Boucher. The agent did not accuse the management of disrespect but expressed dislike for flattery and bowing to foreigners.

The statement made by Babaev suggests a strained relationship between Tkachev and the current management of "Avangard." Babaev stated that if Tkachev needs to return to "Avangard," he will initiate the move himself. However, he did not specify whether Tkachev has expressed a desire to return.

Babaev's comments indicate a sense of frustration and dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs at "Avangard." He compared the current situation to being pushed out and having the door closed behind them. Babaev's use of metaphors (crowbar, axe, feet) to describe the potential reopening of the door to "Avangard" suggests a strong determination to pursue Tkachev's interests.

There are concerns that "Avangard" does not consider homegrown players as their future and is submissive to foreigners. Babaev emphasized the importance of prioritizing homegrown players, stating that they are the future of Russian hockey and the national team.

The general manager of "Avangard," Alexei Soshin, stated that the return of Tkachev to the team is not excluded. However, Shumi Babaev, Tkachev's agent, expressed disbelief about the possibility of Tkachev returning to "Avangard." Babaev criticized the current management of "Avangard" for many unpleasant moments for coaches and players.

Vladimir Tkachev signed a two-year agreement with Magnitogorsk "Metallurg" after his contract with "Avangard" was terminated despite his active status. The Omsk club has not yet commented on the ongoing situation.

Despite the strained relationship, Babaev expressed belief that "Avangard" will gain experience and understand their mistakes in time. The future of Russian hockey and the national team may depend on the management's ability to address the concerns raised by Babaev and find a solution that benefits all parties involved.

What about the future of Russian hockey in the NHL? Shumi Babaev, Tkachev's agent, thinks that nurturing homegrown players is crucial for the success of Russian hockey, even in international sports like the NHL.
