First premiering in London, "Tod auf dem Throne - The Klosical" is making its German debut in Halle. Künzel co-authored the show with British partner Mark Underwood, who he gained contacts with during their collaboration on another musical. The idea for this riotous adventure came to Künzel mid-comfort break during a boozy pub session.

"English is simple when it comes to music, it just sounds nicer. German always sounds a bit harder and harsher," said the musical maestro about adapting the script to German.
