Tirschenreuth Swimming Club's 28th Advent Competition: Stars Align for Sunday's Showdown
The Tirschenreuth Swimming Club's 28th Advent Swimming Competition is set to take place this Sunday, December 3, at the indoor pool of the Stiftland Gymnasium. With 231 active participants from 11 clubs, the event promises fierce competition for 3 team and 16 individual trophies.
The host club, Tirschenreuth Swimming Club, will field its strongest team, including world cup starters Fynn Legat and Leonhard Fütterer. They are joined by the 'future quartet' of women, adding to the club's high hopes for the competition.
The top contenders for the team trophies include SG Nordoberpfalz, SC Schwandorf, and SV Weiden. Individual trophies will be hotly contested, with clubs like SC Regensburg, TS Arzberg, and SF Pegnitz boasting strong chances of success.
The competition will feature 18 events spread across morning and afternoon sessions, with a lunch break for the youngest swimmers. Free admission is hoped to attract numerous visitors to cheer on the participants.
