"Tinubu's Aide Rebuts APC Head: Charges of Manipulation Unfounded"

The dust is far from settling in Abia State's political arena, as the Chief Press Secretary to the state governor, Ukoha Njoku Ukoha, accuses the Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Abia State, Kingsley Ononogbu, of attempting to sow discord between President Bola Tinubu and Governor Alex Otti.

In response to Ononogbu's critique on Sunday, during which he labeled Otti's leadership as a "One-Man Show," the APC chairman argued that Otti is mismanaging Abia State by residing mainly in his private residence instead of Umuahia, the State capital.

Ukoha fires back, branding Ononogbu's actions as an attempt to deceive and mislead Tinubu with false accusations against Governor Otti. He urges Ononogbu to focus on acquiring votes for the APC and the President rather than targeting Otti. He also reminds the APC chairman of the woeful 4% votes his party managed to secure for President Tinubu during the 2023 election.

Ukoha chastises Ononogbu for damaging the APC's reputation through his actions, further stating that the issue of the governor's residence has already been addressed by the State government and should not serve as a basis for attacks.

"Ononogbu should stop deceiving and misleading Mr. President and focus more on how to secure votes for President Tinubu in 2027, instead of slandering Governor Otti who is celebrated by the Abians everywhere," he said.
