Tinubu's administration allegedly causing issues within every political party as Peter Obi's name surfaces - Obidient Movement asserts

In the political landscape of Nigeria, the Obidient Movement is making waves as they strive to provide opportunities for the youth's political involvement, with Peter Obi, a requested and needed candidate by the Nigerian youth, at the helm.

Peter Obi, who is alive and actively campaigning for the presidency, finds himself in the centre of attention, with the ruling party, led by President Bola Tinubu, and other political parties showing interest in his candidacy. The ADC, PDP, and Labour Party, among others, are said to be interested in Peter Obi.

However, the current political strategy towards Obi's presidential ambitions, as perceived by observers, involves several key elements. Some reports suggest that Obi is perceived as a significant threat to Tinubu's re-election chances, leading to potential efforts to intimidate him or restrict his movements and visibility in regions where he has strong support.

The APC, led by Tinubu, has been critical of Obi's ability to perform as president, with APC chieftain Biodun Ajiboye dismissing Obi's capacity to outperform Tinubu in governance. Some critics also accuse Obi of resorting to tribal politics, which could be used by the APC to further marginalize him.

Despite these challenges, Obi has formed alliances with other opposition figures, potentially complicating Tinubu's strategy by creating a broader coalition against him.

Meanwhile, the Obidient Movement, led by National Coordinator Yunusa Tanko, is cautious about revealing its plans to prevent any interference from the current administration. The movement aims to avoid a repeat of the MKO Abiola situation where a popular candidate was denied the presidency. Tanko claims that President Tinubu is creating problems in political parties interested in Peter Obi, and asserts that the administration is working on "Operation do not allow Peter Obi to have a ticket."

However, Tanko expresses optimism that Obi will clinch the ticket of any political party he runs under. He also states that the ruling party tries to prevent Peter Obi from getting the presidential ticket and that the government is interested in ensuring he doesn't win anywhere the name Peter Obi rings a bell.

Peter Obi, widely recognized as the most popular presidential candidate in Nigeria and of global interest, is in high demand among Nigerian youths who have recently become politically engaged. The Obidient Movement is determined to keep its strategies hidden until the appropriate time, working tirelessly to provide opportunities for the youth's political involvement in the upcoming elections.
