In 1984, Timothy was knighted CBE for his exceptional contributions to the dramatic arts, bestowed upon him in the Queen's Birthday Honours List.
Historically, West also wed actress Jacqueline Boyer from 1956 to 1961, and they were graced with a daughter, Juliet West. In 1963, he exchanged wedding vows with Prunella, and they welcomed their eldest son, Samuel, in 1966[3].
