Tiefenort's spring finale blends music, reflection and candlelight this Sunday
A special worship service will close the spring season at the historic church in Tiefenort on Sunday, March 22. Starting at 6 p.m., the FLOW Band will lead an evening of live music, reflection, and community. The event, titled '1, 2, or 3—where do you really stand?', invites everyone to explore honest questions in a welcoming space.
The service blends handcrafted pop and worship music with scenes performed by church elders. These skits draw from real-life experiences, offering relatable moments for attendees. A sermon and candle ritual at the forged Tiefenort Fish candlestand will also form part of the evening.
The church's elaborate lighting design adds to the atmosphere, creating a warm and immersive setting. Organisers emphasise that the event is free and open to all, encouraging participants to leave behind comparisons and rankings. Instead, the focus is on the message that everyone is already valued and loved. Last February, over 100 people gathered for a similar service. The crowd included young adults, parents with confirmands, and local tradespeople, reflecting the event's broad appeal.
This final spring service aims to provide a space for connection and reflection. With live music, storytelling, and a candle ritual, the evening offers a chance to pause and consider personal questions. The church doors remain open to anyone seeking a moment of stillness or community.
