Suggestions sought for Children's Inclusion Award in Thuringia - Thuringia's Kinder-Inklusionspreis opens nominations for barrier-free children's projects

Nominations are now open for the fourth Kinder-Inklusionspreis in Thuringia. The award recognises projects that help children and young people take part in everyday life without barriers. Families, associations and businesses across the region can put forward candidates until June 24.

The Lernen-Verstehen-Fördern association runs the prize to highlight work that supports inclusion. Eligible projects might focus on education, culture, sports or social activities. They should help young children, school pupils, trainees or leisure groups participate fully.

Three winners will share a total of €15,000 in prize money. A panel will review all entries, with special attention given to initiatives that remove obstacles for disabled or disadvantaged children. The awards ceremony will take place in early November.

Previous editions have honoured a range of projects, though specific details of past winners remain undisclosed. This year's organisers again encourage nominations from parents, grandparents and community groups.

The closing date for entries is June 24. Successful projects will receive funding and public recognition for their efforts. Winners will be announced at the November ceremony in Thuringia.
