Winter sports enthusiasts can now enjoy fresh snow in the Thuringian Forest. The region has received up to 26 centimetres of snow, creating ideal conditions for outdoor activities.

The recent snowfall has covered the higher elevations of the Thuringian Forest. With depths reaching 26 centimetres, the area is well-prepared for winter fun. Six dedicated sledding runs are now open for visitors.

For those preferring cross-country skiing, nearly 50 kilometres of groomed trails are available. The routes wind through scenic parts of the forest, offering a mix of difficulty levels. Light snow is still expected in the coming days, which may add to the existing cover.

The Thuringian Forest now provides a variety of winter activities. Sledding and cross-country skiing are both possible thanks to the fresh snow. Visitors can take advantage of the well-maintained runs and trails in the region.
