Thüringer HC Bolsters Defense with Luca Faragó
June 3, 2025, 10:00 AM
Two weeks after the season's final game, Thüringer HC has cemented its squad for the upcoming season with a pivotal addition - Hungarian international player Luca Faragó, who is joining the team on a season-long loan from Motherson Mosonmagyarovari KC.
The 22-year-old Faragó, a formidable defender, will bolster Thüringer HC's defense with her tough spirit and international experience. In a press release issued on Tuesday, the European Cup winners announced the addition of this esteemed talent to their roster. Luca Faragó joins a list of five new recruits, including Laura Kuske, Lotta Heider, Jana Scheib, and Giulia Guarieiro.
Coach Muller Pleased with Faragó's Fighting Spirit
In response to the news, Thüringer HC's coach, Herbert Müller, expressed his satisfaction, stating, "We're thrilled to have Luca on board for the new season. Her fierce determination, which she demonstrated in our discussions, aligns perfectly with our team ethos."
A seasoned player with international experience, Faragó has an impressive reputation as a rising star. Last season, much like Thüringer HC, she participated in the European League with Mosonmagyarovari, but sadly the Hungarians didn't progress past the group stage. In Bad Langensalza, Müller anticipates that Faragō will introduce "versatility" to the team's defensive play.
