A 40-strong delegation from Thuringia, Germany, is currently in Vietnam to foster economic ties, led by Secretary of State for Agriculture Marcus Malsch. The visit aims to boost cooperation, particularly in the agricultural sector and green vocational training.
The delegation, which includes representatives from over 40 Thuringian companies, is exploring bilateral trade opportunities. Currently, trade stands at €220 million, with regular exports to Vietnam. During their visit to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang, they aim to expand partnerships and explore new markets.
Thuringia seeks to share its expertise in agriculture and agrotechnology. With Vietnam's growing demand for skilled labor in agriculture, the state hopes to expand vocational training partnerships to include green professions. This could involve sharing technologies and methods to boost production and processing.
