Excited Little Princess Ines Participates in Her First Swedish National Day!

Great spirits are ablaze as the country prepares for its inaugural day off! - Thrilled for her inaugural national break day.

Get ready to swoon over some family cuteness! As the Swedish royal family celebrated National Day last week, infant Princess Ines of Sweden made her debut in a tiny blue and yellow national costume. The adorable photos, shared on Instagram by the palace, show her being held by her mother, Princess Sofia, with Prince Carl Philip standing proudly by their side.

Surprisingly, it was reported that Princess Sofia wouldn't be attending the National Day festivities. But, it looks like she couldn’t resist sharing this incredible milestone with her fans. Ines was born on February 7, joining her older brothers Prince Alexander (9), Prince Gabriel (7), and Prince Julian (4).

The Entire Royal Family Unites for National Day

Since Ines' birth in February, Princess Sofia has mainly stayed out of the spotlight. However, she did make one appearance during this time – she joined her family on the castle balcony to celebrate King Carl XVI Gustaf's birthday in April.

Now, the whole royal gang is getting together for National Day. The entire family – including King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Princess Estelle, Prince Oscar, Princess Madeleine, Chris O'Neill, and babies Princess Leonore, Prince Nicolas, and Princess Adrienne (who have recently returned from the US) – will be there!

While Princess Leonore‘s participation is unclear, as a member of the royal family, she’s likely to join in the fun somehow.
